SJA Athletics
SJA offers competitive athletics for 5th through 8th grade students. 6th-8th grade students are given priority.
The following sports are offered:
Fall August-October:
Boys' Flag Football Varsity and JV
Girl's Volleyball Varsity and JV
Cheerleading Girls
Fall October- December:
Boys' Soccer Varsity
Girls' Basketball Varsity and JV
Winter January-March:
Boys' Basketball Varsity and JV
Girls' Soccer Varsity
Spring March-May:
Tennis Boys and Girls
Boys' Baseball Varsity
Girls' Softball Varsity
Girls'Flag Football
St. Joan of Arc is a member of the Florida Gold Coast League.
Each sport requires a minimum number of students to field the team and compete in the league.
Coaches are usually one employee and one volunteer parent. Volunteer coaches are required to sign a Diocesan agreement and adhere to all school policies.
Students and parents are expected to carry themselves in a professional manner during athletic events. Yelling at students, opposing team students, parents, or coaches, our coaches, referees, or other SJA parents will result in immediate ejection of the student and/or the parent.
