FAITH
At St. Joan of Arc, we are proud to be a Catholic school where our students, faculty, and staff come together daily to pray and to embody and promote Catholic values. We recognize the importance of nurturing a strong spiritual foundation, which is why students participate in religion class for 30-45 minutes every day and gather for Mass on Wednesdays.

Students are required to participate in the TTT program. TTT stands for Time, Talent, and Treasure. "Time" refers to something the child has done to help someone else, "Talent" indicates a skill the child can share independently, and "Treasure" involves contributions from their piggy bank. Parents are encouraged to assist younger students with their responses. Students up to third grade will be given a blank envelope each week to take home, while students from fourth to eighth grade are responsible for bringing their own envelopes.
A scripture sheet is also sent home every weekend. Families are encouraged to discuss the scripture and answer the questions together. The scripture sheet and TTT envelope are due each Monday unless the student’s Religion teacher indicates otherwise.
We teach the Catholic virtues to our students using the Open Light Media program. Teachers model and students live the virtues as they learn about them. Students exhibiting a virtues life at school are recognized for their efforts at a monthly recognition ceremony after Mass.
In second grade, we guide our students in preparing for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, helping them take essential steps in their faith journey.

As students reach eighth grade, we continue to support them as they prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation. After graduation, we welcome them back a couple of months later to receive the sacrament and celebrate this significant milestone in their lives.
Our community comes together to observe the Catholic days of obligation by attending Mass, and we also celebrate Christmas and Easter, which provide opportunities for us to reflect on our faith.
Each student is involved in a Christmas Nativity Program in December and our sixth graders perform the Living Statins of the Cross during Holy Week.
We appreciate each family's commitment to Catholic education. The support is invaluable to us, and together, we are helping to foster a loving and faith-filled environment for our children.
