We will be celebrating and recognizing all of the important people who help us all year long. On Tuesday January 29th we will be thanking all of our parents for the great things that they do for our school. Sixth graders will make certificates and coupons for their parents. Some of the students will also write cards for their parents.

We went on a trip to Pepperdine to see an opera called Figaro’s American Adventure. We also toured the campus. Most of the students saw an opera for the first time. The students had a lot of good questions about college life and saw the student center on campus.

I am excited about teaching 6th Grade at St. Joan of Arc. This will be my 9th year at SJA. I will be taking on responsibilities as the Vice Principal this year and will be working closely with Ms. Genovese.
